NARBHA is hosting a Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) Dialogue for First Responders (Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement) on Wednesday, September 21st.
We would like to include members of your agency in this event as their representation and feedback is vital to improving the behavioral health system.
Trauma-Informed Care is a philosophy which guides systems and service delivery by incorporating knowledge about trauma and seeks ways to facilitate healing and empowerment and emphasizes collaboration throughout the system. The purpose of TIC Dialogues is to identify system improvements based upon the experiences of members and providers during treatment.
The TIC Dialogues are led by a team of trained TIC facilitators - Maria Esposito, Robyn Kelly, and Christina Mencuccini.
